Pork Chop the Dog needs a home

My name is Pork Chop and I am somewhere around 6 years old, according to the vet. I am a super laid back guy, who doesn't need much besides sleep. I love sleeping! My foster mom loves to give me butt scratches, because I lose control of my caboose and start to dance, as she calls it. I also love to sing when I get excited. I think my top three favorite things to do are sleep, always be with my human, and go on car rides! Sometimes I like to bury my toys outside under leaves and tree branches, (digging is too much work). I also like to hide my toys around the house too. My foster mom has found my stash of toys in the couch, under blankets and under rugs. I am house trained, but I may mark things if you are gone from the house. So for now, I am in the crate when my foster mom is gone, but foster mom says I am doing great because I haven't marked in the house for almost a month! I also have to have carabiner clips on my crate, because I sometimes try to escape. At night, I am fine though. I even get to sleep in the bed. I love cuddling up next to your feet or behind your legs. I do love to play too, just not for too long. My foster my doesn't allow me to have soft toys because I tear them up, but I love playing with my rope. I would rather just be a single dog, so I can get all of the love, but other dogs are okay. I have been fostered with a female dog as well as a male dog, and have done well with them both. I don't always like sharing my toys, though. I am very loving, and I just want to spend time with my human friend!
It appears I didn't have the best home before I ended up in the shelter. I was found on the streets with some cuts on my face. My previous owners knew where I was, and they told the people who found me that they didn't want me anymore. Since I was living on the streets with no care, I ended up getting heart worms. I did have the treatment but I have to restrict my exercise for the next month or so. Around June, I can go back to see if they are all gone! While I was at the county shelter, I was one of the staff favorites! They worked hard to get a rescue to help me, and sure enough, Second Chance stepped up after my foster mama fell in love with my photo!
I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, have been dewormed, and am on my monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. My adoption fee is $225.
